Hola!

Life has been good. Too good, actually. I think God concentrate the bless upon my path. So, what's upcoming? I won 2 design competition in a week! :)

First, I won design competition held by TERANGI (Terumbu Karang Indonesia) for coral reef tranplantation desgin and brain mapping of its seminary theme. My group consist Me, Indaher, Yolla, Diah, and Irna. We won the grand prize for field trip at Pulau Harapan (again!) on Wednesday 28 August - Thursday 29 August, 2014. There's also another schools whom won the prize from 12 SHS, 57 VHS, 38 SHS, 28 SHS. I met Maruli, my bestfriend from JHS on the trip. The trip was so fun fun fun.

We depart from Marina harbour (my first time using speedboat and feel like filthy rich dude lol) and it just took 1,5 hours long to arrive at P.Harapan. The most exciting point of this trip actually because it just a month after my last trip to Pulau Harapan. Aaaaah, I felt so happy that my dream comes true to be back there again. Our trip purpose is to educate us about coral reef, beach ecosystem, and oceanology. I did a lot of observation on first night after discussion and study clinic of the day. I experienced some stargazing shots when the skies there was so mesmerezingly beatifull!

Second, Me and Indaher joined digital poster competition on Saturday after the trip on 61 SHS Jakarta. She won the first place meanwhile, I won the second place. LOL. We got a pretty good prize and Indaher picked up some of our friends to have a movie night that day.

And now, I have two design projects. Queen Dimsum Logo for Kak Mirga and Lenggang Jakarta logo revision for Jakarta Food&Culture Park. I wish all of my projects going well and done perfectly. I really excited that my logo design entered one of the best 5 logo.

Yesterday, PT. Sinar Sosro invited us, the 5 competitor to evaluate our design. They said, our design chosen because IT CLOSED TO THE LOGO CRITERIA, BUT THE DESIGN ISN'T LOGO ITSELF. We had some little seminary to educate us "What is logo?" and "How to make a good and proper logo?" Some like that.

We got the revision chance and deadline is September 9, 2014. The announcement will be held by the end of September as their promise. And the winner will meet Mr. Ahok, DKI Jakarta (soon to be) Governor. Aaaaaargh! i really want a piece of selfie with Mr. Ahok!

But unfortunately, PT. Sinar Sosro said, if until the deadline comes, there's no logo qualified and appropriate enough to be chosen, we still get the prize., equally. Sounds fair enough but actually what I want isn't about the money but also shake hands with Jakarta's Front Man. :')

So, wish me luck! I'll do my best and show my courage as Multimedia student and prove to my parents that I can make them proud!

Weekend, lately

Hey! I’m back again. So, let’s called it a laziest Sunday ever. Since in the morning, did the tournament on SMAN 1 BuDut and we won there against SMAN 41. We had a great game than yesterday because it felt like our spirit mixed together and built a good game! And we won 3-0 this time :p getting better than a half year ago in Pundarika Cup when we won 3-2. I wish our time will be able to pass this game and be a winner! Wish us luck!

Michael Buble, my comfy bed, a peppermint tea, great novel “Twivortiare” by ika Natassa I just bought yesterday at Gramedia PIM. All sets up perfectly. This is my own heaven. Ah, plus plus a calm atmoshpere after rain. So mager!

At time like this, I usually become a productive human. I’d like to sit around sketch papers and miserable workspace. Now, during break from sketching activity I decided to pours my imagination onto a paper. It’s my way to pampering myself. It’s been a tiring week. Finally, the First Semester Exams has done. But brace myself for incoming remedial week! Aha.

Anyway, my phone just died today. Fuck off ofcourse because it made me hard to contact people. Sure, living in 20^th century without holding any gadget and wifi connection totally sucks! But I think that’s an alarm for me to buy a new one. My last phone wasn’t able to install a messenger such as LINE, KakaoTalk, and so on. And it’s so annoying to lost contact with people just because they don’t have phone credit and only available by messenger -_-

I went to TOTALFAT concert on Friday night with daddy. My daddy allowed me to go because he knows that I had an unexpected call with Bunta and Jose a night before.  My very first concert ever happens in my life, and come along with dad! He was so kind to take me over there and waiting for me until the concert done around 1 AM. The crazy point is, I’ll have the first game on BuDut Cup next morning. I saved by Kratingdaeng in the morning. I know it’s not healthy but just once lah.

The concert was insane! Shun, Jose, Kuboty, and Bunta just made it a day! Practically, they’ll on stage around 11 pm but they’re ready on 11.45 pm. So, when I arrived at JakCloth *after heartbroken waiting for rain-stops and Jakarta’s crazy Friday nite traffic* around 9pm, I texted him and asked his position. He didn’t reply my text so I decided to melipir on Macbeth Stage to saw Ian Karim performance. Ian is announcer of SRIGALAMALAM at MD Radio Jakarta. And that day was his bday! Lol. I just had a lil chat with him before I melipir again to found NuShock Stage.

I met Biyu and Ikram too waiting for TOTALFAT. And suddenly my phone beeped, he texted me that he stood in front of the sound mixer. And I went there. We enjoy Siksa Kubur, Rosemary, and Pee Wee Gaskins’ performance before TOTALFAT. Jose  was so funny during the concert. After the concert done, he gave me a paper full of TOTALFAT member sign and a sticker. Awwww he’s so sweet :p. And then, I met my dad and went home around 2 am.

HAI DAY 2013 day 1 : RACUNCINTA INDONESIA – Mengisi Kekosongan di Distro Pakaian

Halo!

I comeback after hiatus for a month. hehe

Gimana weekend lo semua? Fun atau justru ngebosenin?

Well, weekend gue pribadi sih jauh dari kata ngebosenin :p karena Sabtu dan Minggu kemarin gue hadir di acara yang gokil banget bulan ini! Yep, HAI DAY 2013 dengan mengusung tema Celebrating Eco Youth sukses digelar 2 hari berturut-turut di Parkir Timur Senayan.

Lo nggak dateng? Asli! Nyesel, hehehe...

HAI DAY 2013 kembali mendulang kesuksesana caranya dalam menggaet anak-anak muda nih. Tahun lalu crowdnya juga bejibun dan dari berbagai macam kalangan juga latar musik yang berbeda. Acaranya sendiri bukan cuma konser musikdoang loh, tapi juga ada acara akademik dan non akademik. Ada lomba cerdascermat, cheers, futsal, demo band, tawuranpaskibra, mini jakcloth, bazzar dan stand kreatif dari SMA/SMK, dan yang paling ditunggu jelas konsernya!.Dengan harga tiket yang lebih murah (iya,lo gak salah baca: LEBIH MURAH!) dari tahun lalu menjadi 15 ribu doang (lo gak salah baca lagi:15 rebuperak!!) lo udah bisa nikmatin semua pagelaran tersebut dari jam 10 pagi sampai jam 10 malem, asoooy.

Tahun ini gue tepuk tangan deh sama panitia, dengan sistem presale di minimarket mitra mereka, gue sekarang gak perlu repot-repot ngantri lagi kayak tahun lalu dan penataan venue juga lebih rapih dan bersih! Cuma sayang, fasilitas toilet dan peta venuenya masi perlu ditingkatin.

Ok, kali ini gue mau ceritain soal booth-booth yang paling menarik minat gue.

Gue sampe venue masih pagi banget, sekitar jam 8.30 dan gue mutusin buat ngider-ngider di sekitar stand kreatif SMA karena di peta ada nama sekolah gue, pas gue cek malah gak ada. Trus gue ketemu temen guedari SMA Pembangunan Jaya, gue langsung histeris nostalgia gitu deh huahuahuahua.

Lanjut dari situ, gue langsung muter di booth mini Jakcloth dan semesta seperti mendorong gue ke sebuah booth yang sudah tertata apikdibanding yang lainnya.

Yak! RACUNCINTA bro. Sebuah lini pakaian yang agak nyentrik tapi asik dan bikin gue terusik buat nyambangin boothnya. Setelah ngeliat beberapa potong “hasilbumi” mereka, gue spontan pengen ngajak wawancara, dan kebetulan ownernya yang jaga booth! Ihiy lucky me!

RACUNCINTA adalah sebuah brand distro local yang diprakarsai oleh Bayu Riandika dan Istri pada akhir tahun 2009. Awalnya, pasangan ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas senirupa dan desain di Jakarta, sampai akhirnya mereka menikah dan memulai bisnis ini dengan modal tiga bulan pesangon yang saat itu kisaran 1jt/bulan. RACUNCINTA sendiri mengusung tema nasionalis, budaya, dan manusia. Konsep desain pakaian mereka bisa terbilang langka, unik, fresh, sekaligus wearable karena pemakaian Ilustrasi yang bermakna di setiap desainnya. Brand ini juga menerapkan pattern tribal, batik, dan Navajo dengan potongan yang clean untuk laki-laki sedangkan cutting yang out of the box sangat kental di section wanitanya.

Mas Bayu selaku owner juga menginginkan RACUNCINTA sebagai pengisi kekosongan lini pakaian anak muda masa kini yang terlalu kebarat-baratan. Dia sendiri tidak anti dengan western, tapi dia ingin menonjolkan sisi nasionalis dari sudut pandang yang lebih ringan namun saratmakna disetiap desainnya. Menurutnya, desain-desain bertema nasionalis sekarang agak statisdan simple bermain di tipografi dan tokoh bangsa. Ia sendiri mengambil konsep seperti hewan, permainan khas Indonesia, dan ritme manusia di Tanah Air yang Ia tata apik dalam ilustrasi dan pola nyelenehnya. 

Semua pengerjaan dari mendesain hingga memilih bahan dilakukan oleh pasangan ini di rumah mereka di daerah Pamulang. Pangsa pasar RACUNCINTA adalah anak muda baik pelajar, mahasiswa, maupun eksekutif muda dengan kisaran harga Rp 90.000 – 125.000.  

RACUNCINTA juga telah memilki trade-mark batik mereka sendiri yang dibuat langsung di Pekalongan dan langsung jadi hits!

Overall, gue sendiri langsung jatuh cintadeh sama brand lokal ini. Mereka berani out of the box dengan harga yang tetep affordable.Serukan?

How's your holiday and final annual report this second semester? Anything improve or maybe something went down? :) welp, just let all the report as is and do better and better for next year academy!

This year holiday will be so long and fun because extended with puasa (fast) holiday~ I have 2 weeks holiday until 15 July then entering school only for 2 weeks last and have another holiday for Lebaran (Idul Fitri) :D / sooooo happy~

I'll have Industry Work Practice or ppl easily said Prakerin (Praktik Kerja Industri) start from August till October, wish me luck!

Anyway, does anyone here know about AFA? Wwww... AFA is an acronym from Anime Festival Asia which held an exhibition for japan lover all around the Asia. Not only an exhibition, there'll be a international cosplay competition, maid and butler cafe, also super EXCITED ANISONG STAGE!!. So far, AFA already successed in Malaysia and Singapore. Last year, AFA finally held on Indonesia and took place in JCC, Kemayoran. The event was successed and bait so many visitor to come there to gather or just to watch ANISONG STAGE.

Last year, AFA serve a super delight Anime Singer as special guest such as LiSA (my favorite!) Stereophony, 7!!, Ichirou Mizuki, and many more! The tickets sold out barely one month only, for God's sake O__O. And maybe, that's why Danny Choo as Culture Japan and AFA manager, decided to held another AFA event in Indonesia!
